The Blackboard Smart Pen is the easy-to-use smart pen that saves everything you write when you pair it with your Blackboard writing tablet and the Carbon Copy Smart templates.
The Smart Pen set includes:
- The Blackboard Smart Pen featuring Carbon Copy technology, which captures everything you write and instantly turns on when the cap is removed
- Carbon Copy Blank Smart template in Letter size
- Carbon Copy Blank Smart template in Note size
When you write using the Smart Pen on the Blackboard writing tablet with the Smart template, the Smart Pen instantly streams it wirelessly to the Blackboard app for iOS and Android. The Carbon Copy Smart templates are made with premium synthetic paper and are embedded with a special code to capture everything you write.
Once your notes sync in the app, you can edit, save and share as well as organize into easy to access folders.

How does the pen save my notes?
The Carbon Copy pen has a small camera placed at the base of the stylus tip that captures every stroke written on the Blackboard with the Carbon Copy template. The template has an embedded code that allows the camera to capture everything. The pen connects to the Blackboard app on your phone via Bluetooth and uploads all your notes once it syncs.
