Job Title:Mechanical Engineer

Brief Description of Position:
Kent Displays, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced Engineering team in the development of designing consumer electronic products using ultra-flexible and rugged cholesteric liquid crystal displays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use Solid Works & Auto CAD to create fully defined solid models, drawings & specifications.
Interface with manufacturing and manufacturing partners on product and part design.
Manage all mechanical aspects of a project from design to production.
Design metal, plastic parts, & fixtures.
Work Directly with Product Development, Technology development, Quality and Manufacturing to develop new product concepts and designs.
Keep detailed notes and documentation.
Self-motivated, self-directed and results-oriented.

Strong intuitive, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation.

Education and/or Experience:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related degree
Minimum 1-year experience in related field.
Experience with liquid crystal displays. UV curable coatings or roll-to-roll experience is a plus.
